My hair is very dry, will using hair straightners damage it further?
Continuous use of hair staightners will dry your hair out. Always use a protective spray before using the straightners and keep the straightners on the lowest possible heat.
I want my hair up for an occasion, but I am not sure which styles would suit me.
If you would like your hair up, it is best if you can go to your stylist with some ideas of styles you like and maybe any hair accessories you want to wear. Always book a practise run before the occassion, so you can see what suits you and what doesn't.
I enjoy my hair being coloured, is there anything I can do to make it last longer?
All colours have the tendancy to fade. Reds and coppers are more prone to fading. To help keep your colour for longer, try and keep you hair protected in the sun. If you are a swimmer, tie your hair back or wear a hat. There are also colour protect products on the market which are designed to keep your colour for longer.
I have bleach in my hair, is it safe to go swimming?
It is safe to go swimming with bleach on your hair, although it is good if you are able to protect the hair from the water, as this can prevent excess dryness.

I have tried to lighten my hair at home to blonde, why does it always come out ginger?

The hair lightening process is very complex and best carried out within a salon. A lot of blonde colours can only be achieved with hair that is naturally light. To achieve light blonde on mid to dark hair, only bleach can be used. This can be lethal when not in professional hands.

I am dissatisfied with the outcome of my hair after visiting a salon, what shall I do?

Let the salon manager know you are dissatisfied and give another member of staff the chance to correct it for you. This should be free of charge. If there is no one else to correct it and you are still unhappy, then request a refund and have it done elsewhere.
I am on medication, will that effect my hair colour?
Very few medications affect hair colour, although some do interfere with hair colours taking. If this is a concern, discuss it with your colourist. It seems that generally white/grey hair is more prone to this.
I am pregnant is it still safe to have my hair coloured/permed?
Yes, it is still safe to have your hair either coloured or permed, however you may notice an overall change in you hair, for example: it may be prone to becoming more oily or dry.
